New York Fed to Discontinue Publication of Foreign Exchange Rates

NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will discontinue the publication of foreign exchange rates on December 31, 2008. This is consistent with the New York Fed’s October 2, 2007 announcement to discontinue publication, given the availability of alternative market-based sources for these rates.
